The purpose of my blog is to record my family history and genealogy on my mother's side of the family. The surnames include Hoover, Pickett (Piggott), Eccles, Huddleston, Manis (Maness), Gipson, (Gibson) Gifford, Lawson, Fish,and and other in my family tree. I will continue my genealogy research as I try to help others with their genealogy. I don't guarantee that all my genealogical conclusions are correct, they are a work in progress.
I love the photo. My grandpa 'snuck away' to see his newborn daughter before going over to India. I would love to have seen a picture of him being 'naughty'. Glad Betty's husband had proper authority so that a picture would be made. (Just kidding) Great photo.
