Census Sunday - Names Reversed

Census Sunday is a new blog prompt from GeneaBlogger suggested by Colleen Pasquale of Leaves and Branches.

On this 1880 Census in Wayne County, Indiana my great great grandfather and his family is listed as the Henderson family.  He is listed as Gibson Henderson instead of Henderson Gibson.  It took me a long time to find this census because of the name reversal.  I accidentally found it when I was looking for a cousin who was listed here.  He is next door and I realized when I was looking at the page that the family there had all the first names of my great great grandfather's family.

  1. What a great find. A name reversal, I bet that happens a lot with some names. Good Luck with your blog.
